Finish the Job: from debate to decision

01

Starting point

The Digital Markets Act is one of Europe's most important economic-policy decisions, and it is at risk of being watered down in the political process. A coalition of European entrepreneurs wanted to make it clear: this is not bargaining material, it is the future of a fair digital single market.

The challenge: turn a complex regulatory debate into a clear mandate for policymakers — and carry the voice of European founders well beyond the usual Brussels beltway.

02

Approach

We run the campaign end-to-end: narrative, claim and visual language, campaign website, OOH orchestration in Brussels and beyond, coordinated media activation and social.

Under the claim “Don't let Big Tech swallow the DMA whole.” the campaign addresses the European Commission head-on, with a visual language that combines political clarity and entrepreneurial backing. finishthejob.eu bundles demands, signatories and materials; OOH and social activations create visibility where decisions are made.

03

Outcome

Three weeks from campaign idea to decision.

On 15 July the ads went live: a Politico homepage takeover and an LED truck in front of the Berlaymont building in Brussels. At the same time, the coalition launched on LinkedIn.

On 22 July, 67 European founders and companies, including GetYourGuide, Personio, Nextcloud, France Digitale and the German Startup Association, addressed the open letter to Ursula von der Leyen. One day later, on 23 July 2026, the European Commission fined Google 890 million euros.
